This is a "Bumbo" seat. They were not around when Aiden was a baby. Apparently they are a mother's best friend. Isaac isn't technically old enough for it, but since he is holding his head up so well I thought I would try it out. He loved it. He really enjoyed being upright and looking around. They are designed to allow a baby to sit upright who cannot sit unassisted yet. It helps them develop the muscles necessary for sitting, or so I have heard.
